Students' meeting

Once a month, students get together at lunch to exchange experience in our Ulm and Vöhringen canteens. This meeting gives them the opportunity to get to know each other and to make contacts in order to become accustomed to their new environment. They will have interesting conversations about their studies, the university, their activity at Wieland and also about their leisure activities. The meeting will also be regularly attended by members of the Human Resources Department who will answer any questions the students may have.

Workshops

There are regular workshops for students to improve soft skills. These workshops provide information, for example, on how to correctly apply for a job or how to communicate successfully.

Further education

We offer a comprehensive and varied range of in-house training programmes, including some 160 presentations, courses and seminars, from PC seminars, presentations of the Wieland production, personal training to cookery courses or safety training for drivers. If places are available, this offer also applies to students at Wieland as well as family members.

Factory tours

Students are given an insight into Wieland’s production, including production processes, during factory tours of the Ulm and Vöhringen plants.
