Wieland has always been focusing on its employees as valuable partners. Thanks to their commitment and knowledge, Wieland is able to compete in the world market.
As a result of the demographic trend, the number of potential qualified employees available on the job market is, however, insufficient in the medium and long term. Therefore, companies have to take early measures in order to be able to deal with future changes.
In the "Focus 50 + - best perspectives for experienced employees" contest, an independent jury has evaluated our employee benefits and our pro-active human resource activities - particularly in competition with "big" industrial companies. The evaluation has covered recruiting, career opportunities, health management, work organisation and further education, with the focus being on benefits for older employees.
With this golden seal we have received an award we can use for a two year period. Besides Wieland, six other companies, out of a total of 137 participating companies, have received an award: HUK Coburg, ThyssenKrupp Steel Europe, Evonik Industrie, Continental, Phoenix Contact and Brose.
The "Managing Demographic Award" contest is organised by the company Apriori under the patronage of the chairwoman of the Family Affairs Committee of the Bundestag, Sibylle Laurischk, and with the support of the Wirtschaftswoche.
